Two ways from Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA Terminal 1 & 2): a direct Grab ride, or rail plus the Sunway BRT, which avoids highway traffic. Driving and parking are further down.

Why rail? Avoids highway congestion at peak hours (07:30–09:30 and evenings).

Rail route, step by step

  1. KLIA Express / Transit to KL Sentral

    Board at the airport's basement transit terminal. Direct to KL Sentral.

    ~30–35 min
  2. LRT Kelana Jaya Line to USJ 7

    At KL Sentral, board towards Putra Heights. Alight at USJ 7 (KJ31).

    ~35 min
  3. Transfer to the Sunway BRT

    Cross the upper-level bridge at USJ 7 to the BRT platform. Board towards Sunway-Setia Jaya.

  4. Alight at SB5 Sunway-Monash

    Exit onto the Level 3 covered bridge, which leads directly to Gate A security.

Set your destination to Monash University Malaysia, park at the BRT Park & Ride next to campus, and walk across the covered bridge to Gate A.

Highway access: Damansara–Puchong Expressway (LDP), KESAS, New Pantai Expressway (NPE) or Federal Highway. Follow signs for Sunway City / Sunway Lagoon.

Sunway-Monash BRT Park & Ride

Multi-storey covered car park beside campus on Jalan Lagoon Selatan.
  • Entry hours: 07:00–17:00 daily. Exit any time.
  • Overnight parking: not permitted.
  • Payment: Touch 'n Go, Visa / Mastercard.

Car park to Gate A

  1. Park

    Any available level inside the BRT Park & Ride structure.

  2. Go to Level 3

    Take the lift or stairs up to Level 3.

  3. Cross the bridge

    Covered, weather-protected pedestrian bridge.

  4. Enter Gate A

    Follow signs to the Gate A security check.

Before you drive in

  • Touch 'n Go balance: keep at least RM 10.00 on your card before entry.
  • Identification: present your ID at Gate A security.
  • If the BRT car park is full: park at Sunway Geo Avenue (about a 10-minute walk).

Building 9, Level 5, Room 1. All sessions, Monday 21 to Friday 25 September. After Gate A security, head to Building 9 and go up to Level 5. Breakfast is served from 08:30.
